We've had a Monster month in more ways than one! Martin, Steve and Ian started November covering the Monster Race at Charlton Park near Malmesbury. With new obstacles including a huge waterslide and industrial pumps providing extra water and mud to bog down the competitors, there was plenty to photograph!
Tash has been busy with several family portrait sessions, plus a toddler group and NCT group all in the studio this month. On the commercial side we've been out to yet another estate egent taking staff photos and avoiding the rain in the studio working on product and gift photography for a kitchenware catalogue.

This month at the Little Photo Company saw our Facebook likes pass 1000, big thanks if you're one of them! Our new studio refurbishment is in full swing: next step flooring - wood or resin?!
As we draw close to the end of another wedding season it's the turn of wedding fairs to keep us busy on a Sunday, so far we've exhibited in Bristol, Salisbury, Bath and Taunton - Hello again to all our new brides and grooms that we met on those days.
Tash's portrait side of the business continues to grow with at least one new portrait shoot a week - look out for some new portrait packages in the new year to celebrate the new studio.
The commercial side of the business is also increasing. This month we photographed an event at the national heritate motor museum, and residential property work reached a new monthly record for us - particularly exciting when the market tends to be cooling at the end of the summer.
Next month - the Monster Race, stay tuned..!

This September has had quite a property theme, we've been in Manchester photographing student accommodation, Gerrards Cross to cover the opening event of a new care home, we've been in Swindon taking shots of staff at a leading Estate Agency, and photographed over thirty residential properties in Wiltshire.
Aside from property we've photographed some baby and family shoots, an evening corporate conference, seven weddings and some product photography for a national supermarket chain.
Closer to home we're currently refurbishing a new studio - photos to follow very soon...

August once again has been our busiest month of the year, we've photographed weddings in Somerset, Devon, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire. On the commercial side of the business things have been quite varied: we've photographed over 25 residential properties this month, as well as celebrity golfing event and a lifestyle shoot in a flagship Sainsburys store in London.
Steve has also been wading through the mud while photographing the South West leg of Tough Mudder - well done all those that competed and kept us smiling while falling from the monkey bars into freezing cold water!

July has seen us outside enjoying the sunshine while photographing Christenings, weddings and family portraits. We've also been busy in the studio, with photo shoots of garden furniture, kitchen utensils and slimming products!
The buoyant housing market continues to feed in lots of work, and this month we became the preferred supplier of photography to two local estate agencies in Chippenham and Swindon.

This month we were joined for a week by budding young photographer Lizzie Prater. Lizzie helped us with end of term photos at various nurseries and pre-schools, as well as photographing a fabulous sunny sports day at Little Angels Nursery in Calne.
On the corporate side of things Steve has been photographing some hip student accommodation in Bournemouth, and a busy team of financial advisors (braces - check, pinstripe suits - check) in Cheltenham.
As ever we've been travelling far and wide for weddings, this month at Tortworth Court, Leigh Park, Guyers House, Caswell House and The Beach House in Shoreham. In a pleasant change from all the travelling we also photographed a Christening at Derry Hill church - 20 yards from our studio!

May brought long sunny days and evening which we we're out making the most of. Quite aptly we photographed a new range of spice rubs for barbeque titans, Eat The Smoke - we couldn't resist firing up the grill at the studio and confirm the taste is legendary.
We also photgraphed a record number of houses for estate agents this month - 18 in total, and most in fantastic sunlight, no need to photoshop in blue skies!
Another first for Steve this month was photographing a family wedding. Apparently it was the most nervous he's ever been when photographing a wedding - having his parents watching him at work!
A round-up of May wouldn't be complete without a mention of the Monster Race! Back for a second annual event at a new venue, Cornbury Park in Oxfordshire. This year we beefed up our team on the day with fantastic work from Martin and Ian, ensuring plenty of photos were available of the 1000+ competitors. Well done all that took part and hope to see a lot of you again back at Charlton park in November.

This month has seen us travelling all over the place! We started with a weekend in France to photograph a conference at the Université Paris. Next stop Wales to photograph weddings are two amazing venues: Pencoed House Estate and the haunted Craig y nos castle with its Victorian theatre.
We photographed one of the first weddings at a fabulous new venue, Elmore Court, with it's amazong sustainably built 'Gillyflower' reception building. We also managed to dodge to April showers at two other fanastic weddings near Woking and Bath.
Finally, we've also been to Hampshire and Somerset for family portrait shoots of some of our previous wedding clients - it's always lovely to catch up with couples again and to meet their growing families!

March has seen us photographing some company staff portraits, an interesting studio work utilising multiple layers in Photoshop, and continuing our trip around the UK photographing at various universities.
We had a great first test shoot for a new client with some beatiful household products which has led on to us being invited to return to photograph some new gift products for them.
Tash has been busy with various different familiy portraits shoots across the country and we've covered weddings in Bristol, Frome, Sheffield and Cardiff.
We also attended the new Photography show at the NEC to source some new equipment for the studio and spent some time with Nikon's new D4S (yes, it was awesome!)

This month has been a bit of whistle-stop tour of the UK. We've photographed in Liverpool, Greenwich, Birmingham, Sheffield, Christchurch, Bristol and Nottingham, covering subjects as wide ranging as student accommodation and nursing homes, to supermarkets and awards-ceremonies.
With a rise in property sales coupled with the increased activity in the market in at the start of each year, we've seen a huge increase in the number of properties we are photographing for estate agencies, as well as some branch photography for a number of agents in Tetbury and Swindon.
In one of our very few breaks between jobs this month we attended the new photography show at the NEC - highlights included a mind-reading Nikon D4S and meeting up with our new suppliers for of a range of wedding and portrait albums due to launch in April.

Welcome to 2014! Already this year we've been busy on all three areas of the business:
On the wedding side of things we exhibited at a fantastic wedding fair at Bath assembly rooms organised by Wow Weddings and have dodged the rain for some winter pre-wedding shoots.
For the portrait business we've photographed a family shoot in Swindon as well as a family on location in the grounds of Lacock Abbey in Wiltshire.
Finally, are corporate work in January has included a a series of studio shoots for a new baby carrier due to be launched in Spring, some corporate staff photos for a fresh young PR agency in Bristol, and a new campaign for Post-it notes.
As well a looking forward to the new year, we've also had great fun reviewing our work throughout 2013 in readiness for creating our 2013 portfolios.
